Starting driving lessons
And I used to think that driving was a easy job…especially after playing those driving games in the arcade. But in reality, driving is one real hell of a activity. And because I am learning manual car, it is quite physically tiring having to constantly switch between 1st and 2nd gear, in particular when I am driving in the circuit due to the large no. of cars.
So far, I have only attended 2 lessons and even though my instructor thinks I am considered a fast learner so I am ahead of most people, I still find it hard to coordinate the clutch pedal and the accelerator pedal when moving off from a stationary position. Somehow, I would depress my accelerator pedal too hard that it seems as if I am racing on the street. Guess it must be the countless of hours on the initial D game machine whereby you can just spam the accelerator pedal. haha!
Well, I just know for now I cannot view driving as a game anymore. I even have to wash my brain totally clean cause Im too used to driving with one hand (this will result in immediate failure during practical test) and when I stop I will switch to free gear aka neutral (another immediate failure). Haiz.
For now, I am just hoping that I will get through my lessons and take my test as soon as possible so that I can start driving to camp. It will help me save alot of time! And, when I go out with friends, I can fetch them too. haha! As promised people, once I get my license, I will definitely drive all of you around =) after all, I have a 7-seater car waiting. haha!
