NDP Training
reached HTA @ 8.10am.
went to change then slacked at the FI office until 9am.
left for Marina Bay @ ard 9.50am. (someone was LATE! even though that someone keep reminding me that gotta meet @ 9am…haha)
reached Marina Bay and it was raining cats and dogs! argh…so bo bian…cadets had 2 sit there do nothing while e CIs juz stood ard socialise abit..lol! and i juz realised S’pore very rich..ndp training provide KFC 4 lunch and ENDLESS supply of water! lol!
wasted nearly 5hrs cuz it kept raining and raining..haiz! was entertained by the other uniformed groups there..doing random cheers…especially red cross youth…and ncdcc kept singing "we are singapore" song! saw alot of familiar faces…including former CIs, former schmates and my neighbour! lol!
at last! rain stopped so everyone formed up and went unto the parade sq. 1st round was rather screwed up..but cant blame e cadets…the markings were super misleading…2nd round was much much better…gotta give credit 2 e cadets this time! but i hav 2 say that the parade sequence is so haiz…make e contingents stand DAMN LONG..i hav 2 salute the cadets!
went back HTA..had debrief..went 4 dinner..then went 4 lifeguard training! during the trip 2 lifeguard training…had a wonderful one-to-one talk wid jiawei…talked abt everything under the sun! there was this part of this conversation that i think made sense…were talking abt committment in npcc…then i told him.."i observe that there are CIs who would rather skip class than miss npcc trainings…if these CIs were to put in as much effort in their studies…i think they will do well in future..i mean after all npcc cant determine ur future..ur studies can"
watching Uzbekistan vs Singapore now! GO singapore! (although i hav my doubts…but nvm…singapore is my country!)
